Health Education Services

The Health Education Department consists of a staff of Management, Health Educators, Health Education Assistants, and Registered Dietitians. We provide classes, small group instruction, and individual appointments to our members throughout the North Valley area. The classes and groups we offer are on a wide variety of subjects to better improve our members' health and well-being, and improve their quality of life through prevention and self-care strategies such as exercise, healthy eating, and stress management.

We also service our members and the community through our Health Education Centers , which provide a wealth of information on health, chronic conditions, diseases, community resources, and Kaiser Permanente programs and classes. In our Centers we provide services such as class registration, drop-in blood pressure screening, body composition testing, and breast pump sales and rentals . We have educational materials such as pamphlets and flyers, videos and DVD's for loan and for sale, books, reference materials, journals and publications, and internet access to health-related websites such as our own kp.org.
